A space just for you

Real Conversations

Sometimes, you just need someone to talk to.

A conversation that’s all about you

Not because your whole life is falling apart. Not because something terrible has happened. And certainly not because there’s anything wrong with you.

Sometimes, you’ve just got a lot going on in your head, and you need somewhere to put it all for a little while.

That’s where Real Conversations comes in.

How often does someone ask how you are, and you automatically reply, ‘I’m fine’? Even when you’re not quite sure you are.

We’re all so used to getting on with things, looking after other people and dealing with whatever life throws at us that we don’t always make time to think about how we’re actually feeling.

Real Conversations gives you that time. An hour where you can talk openly about whatever’s on your mind, without worrying about being judged, interrupted or told what you should be doing.

You don’t need to prepare anything, and there’s no expectation that you’ll walk away with your entire life figured out.

Sometimes, just saying things out loud can help you see them a little differently.

What might we talk about?

There isn’t a set list of things you’re allowed to bring to a conversation.

You might be feeling a bit lost in life, questioning your career, struggling with confidence or wondering why you’re not as happy as you thought you’d be.

Perhaps you’re always putting everyone else first and can’t remember the last time you did something just for yourself.

Or maybe everything looks absolutely fine from the outside, but inside you’re thinking, ‘Surely there’s more to life than this?’

And sometimes, you might not even know what’s bothering you.

That’s fine too.

You don’t need to have the right words. We can start wherever you are.

What happens when you book?

It’s really straightforward.

We arrange a time to talk, and when we meet, you can tell me as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing.

I’ll listen, ask questions when they’re helpful and give you space to explore what’s going on for you.

I’m not going to tell you how to live your life, hand you a list of things you need to change or pretend I’ve got all the answers.

Because I haven’t.

And I don’t believe anyone else has all the answers to your life either.

What I can offer is a supportive, private space where the focus is entirely on you.

Do I need more than one conversation?

Not necessarily.

Some people might just want one conversation to get something off their chest or talk through a particular situation.

Others might appreciate having that space regularly while they’re working through a change or finding their feet again.

There’s no right or wrong answer.

You can book a single conversation or choose a package of three or six if you’d like some ongoing support.

And there’s no pressure to commit to anything beyond what feels right for you.

What Real Conversations isn’t

I think it’s important to be clear about this.

Although I’ve completed Level 3 and Level 4 training in Therapy and Counselling, Real Conversations isn’t a counselling or therapy service.

It’s not about diagnosing anything, treating mental health conditions or telling you what you should do.

It’s about having an honest, supportive conversation with someone who will listen and give you the time and space to think.

If you’re looking for specialist mental health support, therapy or crisis help, I’d always encourage you to seek the appropriate professional service.

No pressure, just a chat

Not sure whether it’s for you?

That’s absolutely fine.

You don’t have to make a decision today.

We can start with a free 15-minute Hello Call, where you can ask questions, find out a little more about how I work and see whether you feel comfortable talking with me.

No pressure. No obligation. Just a chat.

Because sometimes, you really do just need someone to talk to.
